KENYA: After The Star Newspaper carried a story detailing how the former Harambee Stars striker’s fortunes have dwindled over time, Dennis Oliech has since threatened to sue the paper for defamation and still maintains that he is not broke.
According to the story on The Star Newspaper, the 31-year-old son of a fish monger’s story is one of riches to rugs. Poor financial decisions and an extravagant lifestyle cost him dearly.
The footballer said that he is enjoying life and he has only taken break from footballing.
Dennis Oliech rose to stardom during his days at Kamukunji secondary school where his talent was discovered before joining the national team and later on proceeding to France where he has spent the better part part of his footballing career.
