Kenyan Sons of Gold Get Mistreated in Rio as Police recover Hundreds of cartons containing Team Kenya uniforms for Rio Olympic Games
KENYA: “The best country in the world will spent their night in this ‘slum’ like area in rio after the olympic village was closed !!! Unbelievable mistreatment of athletes !!! (sic)” wrote Team Kenya captain Wesley Korir on Facebook.
The captain alleged mistreatment of athletes in Rio after the organisers closed the Olympics village on Wednesday.Mr Korir said they were stuck in Rio due to National Olympics Committee of Kenya incompetence.

Well according to Korir, Nock booked their flights late, because the officials looked for cheaper flights.

According to NairobiNews, A police source who sought anonymity disclosed that Paul will be taken to court either on Saturday or Monday.
The DCI officers also raided NOCK officers at the 2000 Plaza, Mombasa Road where they recovered hundreds of cartons containing Team Kenya uniforms for Rio Olympic Games.

Chef de mission Stephen Soi, who is also a top officer at General Service Unit and NOC-K deputy treasurer, was the main target.
Paul’s arrest comes a day after Cabinet Secretary for sports Hassan Wario disbanded NOC-K owing to mismanagement of Team Kenya for Rio Olympic Games.
