Kenya's seating DP William Ruto had a secret affair with a Moi University student and sired a child

KENYA:  Deputy President William Ruto  has shocked the nation after he took to twitter dismissing claims that he has neglected a girl he conceived out of his marriage with Rachel Chebet Ruto.

DP Ruto tweeted to his over 1m followers on twitter saying that the child, only identified as Abby, is well taken care of, contrary to what Prisca Jemutai Bett claims.

William and Rachel married in 1991, and Abby was born on March 6, 2006.
A leaked document from the offices of lawyer Gitobu Imanyanra claimed that Ruto had abandoned the child and refused to cater to her needs.

Bett claimed that Ruto seduced her into a romantic relationship when she was still in campus in 2005 but he has not taken care of his fatherly duties since becoming Deputy President.

The woman wants more than Sh160, 000 in cash every month plus a high lifestyle bankrolled by the DP.

She also wants “adequate medical cover,” school fees “in a school that reflects upon the Defendant’s status as the Deputy President” and a vehicle to enable her pick and drop their child to and from school and “other places she might need to go.”

According to Nairobi News, Bett claims to have started a romantic relationship with Mr Ruto back in 2005 while still as student at Moi University.
