KENYA: Former Presidential candidate Peter Kenneth has quit Jubilee Party.
On a live Tv broadcast, Peter Kenneth said he's set to vie for Nairobi governor as an independent."The running mate issue I will call you next week. I will unveil my running mate next week" said PK.
Earlier on Governor Kidero revealed secret deal between Sonko and DP Ruto that was meant to lock Peter Kenneth out of politics.
After quiting Jubilee, Peter Kenneth was however unequivocal in his support of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election and gave his reason for exiting the Jubilee Party as what he termed the “sham” primary that saw Mike Sonko beat him.
