Churchill show comedian shuts down Nairobi street to propose to his long time girlfriend

KENYA: Churchill show comedian left Nairobi revelers stunned after proposing to his long term girlfriend in the streets in broad daylight.

Terrence Mwangi, an MC who doubles up as a comedian on Churchill show, decided to surprise his girlfriend the best way he knew how.

It all went down when Terrence asked his girlfriend, Milicent Chebii, to accompany him to a church service on Sunday, April 9, with a cover up that he was going to meet up with his boss in the afternoon.

Milicent, a producer at KTN, eventually also the House of Grace Church around 1:30 pm where a friend of hers (who was in on the plan) forcefully invited her out to lunch. Whilst in town, Milicent was apprehended by the police for whatever reason.

The well mapped out plan exploded when she turned around amid arguing with the ‘officers’ only to see a number of friends with placards reading ‘Will you marry me?”. The entire incident took place right in the middle of Kimathi street.
