Ex Dragon's Den Judge Stands Accused of Three Counts of Sexual Activity With a Child.

Doug Richard is the man in question here, If you have ever watched Dragon’s Den then you exactly know of the man making judgement calls without holding back.

In his case he rented an apartment, paid a 13 and 15 year old £480 and slept with the younger of the two. According to Metro, Richard 57, stands accused of three counts of sexual activity with a child, one of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, and a charge of paying for sexual services.

Richard was once an adviser to David Cameron, denied the charges and claimed the sex was ‘consensual’ and that he ‘reasonably believed’ the alleged victim was aged 16 or over. He also insists the money was to help with travel expenses and was not payment in exchange for sex.

Police were alerted after the mother of the older girl noticed a PayPal deposit in her bank account, and a medical examination of the 13-year-old girl on January 4 last year indicated she had suffered an injury that could have been caused by sex.

His trial is expected to go on for 4 days.
