Say NO To Chicken Meat Sold In Supermarkets.
Chicken is referred to as the most common type of poultry in the world and mostly used as an alternative to red meat. To start with most chickens spend their lives in filthy sheds with thousands of other birds with each getting less space than a sheet of paper. Now what you didn't know is that these chickens you pick at most of the supermarkets grow to a mature size within 35 days of hatching. Back in the old days it took 10 weeks for them to reach the same weight. Do you even question if they are organically raised? I bet its a BIG NO!.....You have no time for that.
This meat you are so eager to prepare is from a chicken that was probably fed genetically modified corn and soybeans and got some injections to speed up its slaughter size in days of which the food industry will not interested in any to explain this when reached. All it cares about is the profit maximization and not the customers health, needs and specifications.
Going back to the part where the chicks are injected. Maybe i need to elaborate more that the injection contains a mixture of vaccines and antibiotics and to some extent the "Poultry Farmer" injects the mixture in the egg before it's hatched and this makes the chicks resistant to numerous diseases. Are the farmers too impatient to wait and see if the chicks get sick? why should they resolve to taking indiscriminate use of drugs and chemicals to what will end up at your dinner table.
Some of the chemicals and drugs used on these chicks are not even meant to be used in animals but find their way to chicks finally getting to you as meat on your tables ready to be consumed by your already salivating 4 your old kid.
Next time you want to shop for an alternative to red meat and it has to be chicken meat, please opt for organically grown chicken and be sure of the suppliers word on this or quit on chicken meat all together and go for fish meat...if that's not good for you, go green.
