Daughter of Africa’s Richest Man Aliko Dangote, Appointed as Executive Director of Tiger Brand Consumer Goods.

NIGERIA: Daughter of Aliko Dangote, Halima Dangote has been appointed as Executive Director of Tiger Brand Consumer Goods which was formerly known as Dangote Flour Mills.

Her appointment is effective from February 15th, 2016, this was made public through a letter written to the Nigerian Stock Exchange by the company this week.

Halima Dangote has been a member of the board of executives of the Dangote Industries Limited since 2008 and just like her father she has proven to have the skills for business.

She is a mother of two and married to Suleiman Sani Bello since 2008, Halima is the eldest of Aliko Dangote’s three daughters.

Halima is currently a Trustee of the Dangote Foundation, CEO and MD of MHF Properties Limited, Executive Director Commercial at NASCON which is a subsidiary of Dangote Industries Ltd, and an Executive Director at Dangote Industries Limited. Halima also currently runs Cupcake Factory in Lagos, which specialises in unique cake designs.

She has an MBA from Webster Business School London, UK and a BA in Marketing from American Intercontinental University London, UK.
