President Uhuru Kenyatta and King Abdullah II joint military training dubbed "Operation Swift Eagle" (Photos)

KENYA: The joint military training dubbed operation Swift Eagle witnessed by President Uhuru Kenyatta and King Abdullah II of Jordan came to completion on Monday, September 26.

The training was conducted at Embakasi Garrison and was overseen by high ranking military officials from both Kenya and Jordan.

The goal of the joint military training between Jordan and Kenya was to equip soldiers with improved operation capabilities.

The training is set to boost the Kenya Defence Forces as it fights the threat of terrorism in the region more so in Somalia where it’s part of the AMISOM coalition.
