Sponsor is a Kenyan slang meaning older men who bankroll younger romantic interests in exchange of sexual favours from young girls than are in dire need for money.

It was basing his idea in this that the Kenyan gospel artist Jimmy Gait has decided to release a track called Yesu Ndie Sponsor.

“How are you this Friday morning? For sure Yesu ndie sponsor! If you believe in Him, He can take u to the places you’ve never been and get you what have never gotten!" Jimmy Gait posted on his facebook page.
On his youtube video, the gospel artist had this message to the youthful Kenyans...
"Nowadays, alot of young people are looking for an easy way out to get to a good life, hence quite a bunch of them are looking for Sponsors.

Sponsors in this case are either men or women who have money to give them a good life in exchange of their bodies for pleasure.

Am a strong believer of hard work and process to gain success in life. This song is dedicated to young people who want an easy life and quick success to remind them that Jesus is the real Sponsor who when they come to Him can get all they need, ofcourse through the right ways, and not regret later.

Young people, lets get busy and pursue our dreams with patience, hard work, determination and with time, we shall achieve all our dreams. Most importantly, trusting in God is the ultimate solution to life."

Jimmy Gait has been a victim of a backlash from unforgiving Kenyans on Twitter, earlier in the beginning of this year, Jimmy angered KOT after he released a cover of singer Adele’s hit single Hello.

However, as things stand, Jimmy's attempt is not only a major gaffe but also an epic fail that has brought him more agony than the fame he has been looking for.

Kenyans on Twitter have reacted angrily to Gait’s "Yesu Ndie Sponsor", some even taking their time to apologise on behalf of all Kenyans and Jimmy Gait himself.

Below are the reactions KOT gave...
