Three Killed after hijacking a Mercedes-Benz as the driver was reversing out of Wentworth Durban
The 3 suspects who were all armed were spotted as the vehicle sped away a flying squad vehicle patrolling nearby. Suspects started shooting at the pursuing saps vehicle and the members returned fire causing the suspects to loose control and crash. So far 2 suspects are deceased with a 3rd in critical condition.
From the scene three unlicensed firearms were also siezed and the firearms recovered are being sent for ballistics testing to check if they were used in any other crimes.
