Diamond Platnumz House Raided by Police during His Mum’s birthday party

TANZANIA: Armed policemen raided the house of Bongo star Diamond Platnumz in Mivumoni Madale just a few nights ago halting an ongoing birthday party.

Diamond’s mother Sanura Kassim, according to a Tanzanian news source, was celebrating her birthday and a huge bash had been organised in her honour.

According to sources close to the Tanzanian bongo music superstar, Diamond is fond of throwing loud unruly parties at his house, disturbing the normally peaceful, quiet neighborhood.

His neighbours had lodged a complaint to the area police, citing loud music, indecent public behaviour, abuse of drugs and closure of roads in the area whenever the singer threw a party.

Several reports from the singer’s neighbours who were unable to deal with the noise and his fast, loud life, reported to authorities who took action.

Neighbors say that party goers mainly young people use the opportunity to abuse drugs.

One specifically said that one time during such nights, an unruly gang used the get-together to smoke bhang, block roads, urinate by the roadside and engage in debauchery.

It is also reported that Diamond has been summoned to the police station more than three times following the allegations but the ‘Nataka Kulewa’ crooner ignored the summons.

This prompted the police from the area to raid his house, halting the loud birthday bash. It has not been revealed how many arrests were made during the night raid.
