List of Roads to Be Closed in Nairobi during the TICAD conference (From Friday August 26 to Monday August 29)

KENYA: Several major roads are to be closed to pave easy movement for the 6th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD)

The conference will take place on Friday, August 26 to Monday, August 29

The roads that will be affected are...

1. Parliament road between Kaunda street to Haile Sellasie avenue junction

2. Harambee avenue between Uhuru highway to Harambee avenue Taifa road junction

3. Taifa Road between Harambee avenue and City hall way

4. City Hall way between Uhuru highway and Moi avenue

5. Standard street between Wabera and Kimathi street

6. Mama Ngina street between Wabera and Simba street

7. Wabera street between city hall way and standard street

The meeting which will take place at Kenyatta International Convention Centre will be attended by 35 heads of states and over 10,000 delegates.

The roads will be re-opened on Monday midnight, August 26.
