11-year-old acrobat Wendy Waeni Meets Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame

During 2014 Jamhuri Day celebration, Paul Kagame was impressed by Wendy Waeni's performance and invited her to Rwanda.

Wendy Waeni was born and raised in Huruma from a humble family background where she started doing acrobats at a tender age of four, and now it has taken her to places she has never imagined.

Although she did not hear from the Rwandan Head of State for almost two years, the young girl did not give up on her dream of visiting the country.

A few weeks ago, she took to Twitter to politely remind Kagame of the promise he made to her in 2014.

Kagame then instructed Eugene Anangwe, a KTN corresponded based in Rwanda, to ensure it is done.
