Rowdy youths seriously wound a returning officer leaving him hospitalised

KENYA: Jubilee returning officer identified as Kenneth Kimencu was brutally beaten by rowdy youths at Kangaru School in Embu county.

He was about to announce the final results of the primaries in the county.

Kimencu was rushed to Embu General Hospital for emergency treatment.
