Forbes Says Aliko Dangote is Now Richer Than Donald Trump, Roman Abramovich and Oprah Winfrey Combined!!!
This came after Forbes magazine named Aliko Dangote, as the world’s 23rd billionaire, jumping 20 spots on the scale from his previous 43rd position among the elite club of the world’s richest people. His wealth came from cement, sugar, flour and Self Made.
According to Forbes Magazine, In 2015 Aliko Dangote launched new cement plants in Cameroon, Ethiopia, Zambia and Tanzania. The company produces more than 30 million metric tons annually, and plans to double capacity by 2018. Dangote owns about 90% of publicly-traded Dangote Cement through a holding company, this percentage exceeds the 80% ownership ceiling set by the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

A spokesman for Dangote told Forbes that the company has until October 2016 to lower Aliko Dangote's stake and plans to do so by then. Other companies in the Dangote Group, which is active in 15 African countries, include publicly-traded salt, sugar and flour manufacturing companies.
At $15.4 billion, Aliko Dangote is richer than Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich at $7.6 billion, Oprah Winfrey at $3.0 billion and candidate for the Republican nomination for President of the United States in the 2016 election Donald Trump at $4.5 billion.

The American telecom's guru, Bill Gates, again emerged the world’s richest person on the list, followed by Carlos Helu of Mexico.
Forbes said Mr. Gates, who was worth in excess of $9billion in the last one year, has remained at the top of the list for between 15 and 20 years.
