VIDEO: A Lady In Nakuru Shouts At President Uhuru "Uhuru Nakupenda Nisalimie", Prompting Him To Handshake Her.

KENYA: On a Two day tour of Nakuru and Baringo counties to consolidate political support ahead of 2017 polls, a lady caught President Uhuru's eye when she shouted at him, NAKUPENDA! ("I LOVE YOU!"), something that prompted Uhuru to shake her hand.

In a video shared by Nairobi News, the lady who seems to have been recording the whole incident was eagerly waiting for the head of state to make a stop over.

Her prayers paid off when the SUV he was in stopped, and the president got out through the sunroof after the lady requested him to do so. The lady is then heard shouting to the head of state with the sweet words.

Uhuru who apparently had not heard the woman because of the ululations from the crowd continued with his speech as he told the residents that he was in a hurry for a meeting elsewhere.


But the lady did not stop. She continued to shout and telling the President NAKUPENDA! (I love you).
The sweet words caught Uhuru’s ears and all he could do is blush broadly as ululations became deafening.

The woman then requests the president to shake her hand, something Uhuru agrees with and shakes her hand.
