Two More Universities In Kenya Shuts Down Normal Activities Due To Students Unrest
KENYA:After the recent student rampage at University of Nairobi, Students at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology and Laikipia University were on Tuesday sent home after disrupting institutions normal operations.
It is reported that Masinde Muliro students went on a rampage and boycotted the exams after some of their collegues were barred from taking the papers over fee arrears.
Masinde Muliro University Students were instructed to clear from the Varsity's premises not later than 11.00am whereas Laikipia University students were directed to vacate university premises by 2:00pm.
In other News; 62 students from University of Nairobi alleged to have participated in the riots were suspended and directed to collect their suspension letters from the Registrar, Student Affairs, by Friday 15th April 2016.
