Chris Brown and Wizkid set to perform in Mombasa, Kenya

KENYA: Hip hop and RnB singer Chris Brown is set to perform in Mombasa on October 8 at the Nyali Golf club alongside Nigerian superstar Wizkid in an event dubbed Music Festival #MombasaRocks.

The event is being organized by Mombasa Rocks and will be an exclusive event that will see Mombasa being the second city to host international superstars, shifting the focus from Nairobi.

Moet Hennessy are the main sponsors of the show. When asked why it hasn’t been highly publicized, Alexadre Helaine the marketing manager for Eastern Africa responded, “We wanted to make it a surprise for everyone, that is why we did not say anything before, until we were near the concert date”

This will be first visit to Kenya by the American singer whose real name Christopher Maurice.

Regular tickets will be going for 10.000 shillings, while VIP and VVIP will go for Sh 20,000 and Sh 50,000 respectively.
