LIST: Trump Administration Renews investigations on Top Drug Lords who happen also to be Key Political figures

KENYA: There is some serious trouble on Kenyan Top Politicians after America renewed its war on drug lords within Kenya.

America has now turned its investigations to prominent political figure in the country, with the likes of Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko(Jubilee) and Mombasa governor Hassan Joho(CORD) among those in their radar.

Other big names that could be in line for investigations include Kiambu Governor William Kabogo, former Assistant Minister Harun Mwau, former Kamukunji MP Simon Mbugua and Othaya MP Mary Wambui.

According to the Standard, drug investigators are looking into the files of the big names from a report that was tabled six years ago courtesy of a US Embassy.

The initial report in 2011 was handed to the then Internal Security minister George Saitoti, full with list of drug traffickers in Kenya, including political figures. Saitoti went on to name all of them suspected politicians in parliament, but they all vehemently denied the claims.
